The Education Art Prize 2014
Tony Minnion has worked closely with us over the last couple of years running some of the most inspirational workshops for teachers so just think of the effect he could have on your students. See our website www.specialistworkshops.com to see just what’s in store for the winning school.
Tony is a renowned artist who works with textiles exploring and combining traditional and new technology. Most of his work is community and education based and he has extensive experience of running collaborative art projects that combine active participation with impressive outcomes, often in the form of large fabric banners and flags for public display.
Tony set up the London based arts organisation Cloth of Gold and, over 18 years, ran more than 500 residencies in schools across London and nationally at primary and secondary level.
